Axelsson and Björk in the European Championship Squad

This week, the national team coaches announced the women’s and men’s squads for this summer’s European Championship in Italy. Among the selected players are two from Padel Agency.
“Linnea Björk and Adam Axelsson will represent Sweden in the European Championship, which is very gratifying,” says Mikael Sjödahl, General Manager at Padel Agency.
Adam Axelsson has found excellent form recently, winning the SPT tournament in Norrköping with his partner Willy Släryd. He is now one of the eight players included in the squad announced by national team coach Jonas Björkman for the European Championship in Cagliari, Italy, this summer.
Linnea Björk also comes from a victory in the latest SPT tournament, where she, alongside her partner Carla Rodriguez, secured her third consecutive SPT title. With these impressive results and her position as number one on the Swedish ranking, she has earned a place in national team coach Marie Andersson’s squad for the European Championship.
“Our players being selected for the national team is a testament to the effectiveness of our efforts. This summer, we are represented in both the women’s and men’s national teams, and we know that more of our players are knocking on the door. We are very optimistic about the future. I also want to take this opportunity to wish Adam and Linnea the best of luck in the European Championship,” concludes Mikael Sjödahl.
The European Championship in Italy will take place from July 22 to 28.
